Covington Latin School is partnered with the FACTS Payment Program to manage our tuition payments for the school year.  Our research indicates significant benefits to school staff and school families, including convenience, flexibility, and secure online access to individual account information.

To get started, all NEW families must log in and sign up online.  Payment options include:

  • Payment in full by the first day of class. No fee assessed.
  • Semi-Annual Payments due August and January on the 5th or 20th; $10 annual fee assessed.
  • Quarterly Payments due August, October, January and March on the 5th or 20th; $35 annual fee assessed.
  • Monthly Payments due July – March on the 5th or 20th; $45 annual fee assessed.

Automatic payments can be made with:

Automatic Bank Payment (ACH) – ACH payments are those payments you have authorized FACTS to process directly through your financial institution.  It is simply a bank-to-bank transfer of funds that you have pre-approved from either your checking or savings account.

Credit Card – If you elect to use this option, your payment, along with a 2.75% convenience fee, will be automatically charged to your credit card (AMEX, MasterCard, or Discover are accepted).  Paying with your credit card allows you to take advantage of various bonus programs offered by your credit card company.

Invoicing and Check payments to FACTS is also available.  You decide and sign up for the options you prefer.

With FACTS, the school maintains decision-making control.  As always, we will continue to work with families should special circumstances or “hardship” cases arise during the school year.  Contact the school to avoid fees should you have any special needs.

FACTS online payment portal provides access to our own site for enrolling in FACTS for tuition payments.  Enrolling online is simple and secure.

Go to:  https://online.factsmgt.com/signup

Enter the institution information:

Institution Key: 3WGGS

All families will begin by clicking Get Started under the New User option.  Be sure to have your banking information ready.  Before you click the Submit button, please carefully read the Final Review.  Notification confirming your enrollment in a FACTS payment plan online will be sent to you after you submit your agreement.

Enrollment in the FACTS Program is mandatory.  Registration at CLS is not complete until this takes place.

If you have questions, you may contact FACTS at 888-470-6008 or the school office at 859-291-7044.

Financial wealth should not determine access to the best education, nor should it shape a learning community. We believe that no deserving student should be denied a Covington Latin education due to demonstrable financial need. The generosity of our alumni and parent donors enables us to offer tuition assistance to nearly one-third of CLS students, across a broad spectrum of financial circumstances.

April 1, 2024, is the priority deadline for new and continuing student tuition assistance applications, though they may be submitted as early as January.  May 1, 2024, is the priority deadline to accept financial aid and scholarships.  Scholarships and financial aid will not be guaranteed beyond May 1, 2024.

To assess financial need, families are required to submit a  FACTS Financial Aid Application. Tuition assistance is offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so we strongly encourage all families to apply as soon as possible.

Incoming students who score in the 98th or 99th percentile on the CLS Entrance Exam qualify for the Dennis P. Whitehead Scholar Award - a one-time scholarship in the amount of $800.

Continuing students are eligible for academic scholarships awarded at the Fall Honors Assembly. Six scholarships are awarded in each grade level. These awards are made possible by the generous support of our business partners, APT, alumni, and friends.

Sibling tuition credits are offered for each additional sibling enrolled at Covington Latin for $1,000 each year.

Incoming and current students are eligible for scholarships awarded at the Fall Honors Assembly. These awards are made possible by the generous support of our business partners, APT, alumni, and friends.  In order to be considered for these scholarships, students must have a verified FACTS application on file and apply at the link below.  Please read the scholarship guidelines to determine eligibility. The deadline for application is March 15, 2024.
