Welcome to Covington Latin School and congratulations on becoming an Excellentia Scholar at CLS.

Based on your Spring 2025 MAP results, you have earned Direct Admission to Covington Latin School, a distinction reserved for students scoring in the top 95th percentile on the MAP nationally. Direct Admission means that you will not have to take our entrance exams prior to admission.

As the home for gifted and driven students in the Diocese, we want to invite you to a special event designed just for you. On October 18, we will be hosting the Excellentia Scholars Award Ceremony for you and your family. This event will include:

presentation from our administration
tour of the building
admission presentation
and more!
