The Grand Event is being held on April 5th starting at 7 PM at Covington Latin School's Kohlhepp Family Forum. The Grand Event is Covington Latin School’s largest annual fundraiser, bringing together alumni, parents, and friends for an evening filled with fun, community, and philanthropy.
This year, we're adding exciting new games and twists to the event, while keeping many of the beloved traditions alive. Popular activities like Heads or Tails and Split the Pot will return, promising a night of thrill and participation.
We're also introducing some exciting updates! Our Silent Auction has been revamped to include our $1 Auction, offering even more chances to win amazing prizes—no apps or phones required, so you can focus on enjoying the evening with friends instead of looking at a screen. This $1 Auction puts a fresh spin on the classic penny auction. Every ticket includes an auction paddle, and throughout the evening, we’ll raffle off items worth $50 or more. To participate, simply place $1 in the pot to "bid" on an item. If your paddle number is selected, you win the prize. It’s an exciting chance to snag great deals!
Reservations are now open. Tickets are $100 per person, and include one $1 Auction Paddle, dinner by the bite, and drinks. Additional paddles can be purchased for $10, increasing your chances to win!
